Rayvanny Exits Wasafi: East Africa’s biggest music label WCB Wasafi is slowly losing ground. The label has lost three of its main artists since it was formed. Word is Rayvanny is quitting the label too.
Speaking to our Tanzanian informer, we learned that the WCB management has issues dealing with their artists. The music stable owned by Diamond Platnumz has been accused of oppressing their artists when it comes to music revenue shares.
Rich Mavoko left the stable just a year after he was signed. He accused the management of being biased and opportunistic. Kifesi, the then WCB’s lead photographer followed suit. The same year, Diamond’s bodyguard, Mwarabu fighter quit for the same reasons.
Harmonize decided to go solo last year something that raised eyebrows. He was however forced to pay before they could release him. According to sources, the star is said to have quit for the same reasons.
Yesterday, Rayvanny went ahead to delete all photos from his Instagram account. Although assumptions were made, Mgahawani can confirm the rumors. The WCB singer is going solo.
For the past few months, Diamond and the entire WCB management have distanced themselves from the singer. This has been noticed by many. In a recent interview, Mbosso was forced to answer this tough question.
The WCB management is said to have put their energy in supporting Mbosso and their new signing Zuchu. Lava Lava and Rayvanny seem to be on their own. The stable however collects revenue from their projects and shows something that has infuriated the singer.
