Prophet Owour Soddom and Gomorrah: Believers worldwide are still baffled with the manner in which the church is handling the Corona menace.
While praying to God or Allah has always been the last resort in times of crisis, most churches and Mosques remain closed worldwide.
Kenya has not been left out. Churches, Night Clubs, Mosques and all public gatherings have been banned.
Just days ago, a section of Kenyans were curious about the whereabouts of Kenya’s most controversial preacher prophet Owour and other self proclaimed men of God.
The men of God went silent ever since the outbreak was announced. Believers have hence been forced to look for solutions in Sanitizers and Staying at home.
Word, however, is the prophet of the Lord has spoken to his congregation urging them to stay calm. This is according to reports from a believer in his church.
According to the report, the man of God likened the current situation to the biblical times of Soddom and Gomorrah, and during the great floods.
Prophet Owour’s message to believers;
The lord was cleansing the world and just like the old days, nothing can be done. Not by the doctors or the greatest scientists. He went ahead to a quote a Bible verse from Exodus 12:23.
For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.
The believer noted that according to Prophet Owour’s message, no true believer would perish from the virus. He liked the blood on the doors with the blood of Jesus and the Egyptians to sinners.
Although this is not a confirmed story from the prophet of God, some have found solace in it and used it to turn to prayers as numbers of infections rise.
Owour also answered the question of where the preachers were when the world is suffering. He maintained that God was doing according to his will and no one could stop him.
He completed his message telling those questioning his summons with one last message from the bible.
Do not put the lord your God into test.
Kenyans have been asked to continue staying at home and sanitizing whenever they are at a public place.
The story has caught momentum in streets while those believing it being the prophet’s congregants. Others have however bashed it and it’s authenticity. We at Mgahawani are following it up to find its source.
