KEBS has released a statement after it banned more than 200 maize floor products by certain manufacturers.

According to the quality and compliance firm, the said millers had not taken into account all the precautions needed before sending the flour into the market making the products unsafe for human consumption.

In their report, KEBS noted that the above-mentioned manufacturers sold products that had too many toxins that would be dangerous for human consumption.

KEBS also added that they had taken further steps by revoking all licenses issued to the manufacturers and recalled all their products from supermarkets and all retail shops.
