Divock Origi takes the day after scoring goal that sealed Liverpool’s win against Tottenham at Wanda Metropolitano, Madrid



The much awaited Champions league final went down at Metropolitano and as expected only one team was to emerge winner. Kenyans all over the world were eager to watch their sons battle each other in the biggest league finals ever.

As the world watched and cheered for their favorite teams, Kenyans were for their favorite players. Majority of them lined up behind Victor Wanyama. The few that supported Origi however had the last laugh.

Mohammed Salah took a handball foul by Mousa Sissoko two minutes into the game and as usual did not disappoint. He gave Liverpool their first lead. The match however remained a no goal affair.

Origi came in in the second half of the game. almost 15 minutes to the end of the match. He scored the second and last goal that sealed Liverpool’s win in the 87th minute. Kenyan’s have praised the two players, Divock Origi and Victor Wanyama for showcasing Kenya’s talent to the world.

Victor wanyama will be travelling to France to join the rest of the Kenya National Team Harambee Stars as they practice for their AFCON matches that are soon to begin. Kenya’s first match is against Algeria, one of the toughest team in Africa.
